We haven’t forgotten. We won’t forget. We remember September 11th, 2001.
We remember those who have perished, those who are left behind, and those who are still hurting and suffering from this tragedy. Even in the midst of suffering, we believe God is still working for the good in all of this. God is still good. He still loves us deeply. I pray that we might be like Job, that we might humbly worship the LORD, even in the midst of times of suffering, even as we remember what happened, today, 11 years ago. Our resolve is still to be the same…
“‘Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head and fell on the ground and worshiped. And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.’”
In all this Job did not sin or charge God with wrong.” (Job 1:20-22 ESV)
